After numerous attempts to connect via Bluetooth Gigaset SL910A to my PC, it appears that the device does not recognize my PC (although, for cons, my PC has sometimes acknowledged the unit). The same tests on another PC unfortunately lead to the same conclusion: the Bluetooth system on the Gigaset SL910A does not work ...!
If it contacts the Gigaset customer service (08.99.70.01.85), it appears that the latter is fully aware of this dysfunction of its devices and advises therefore to buy a mini-USB cable to connect the device the PC.
Knowing the default devices it sells, Siemens Gigaset could have long ago that a minimum of ethics with respect to its customers:
- Making do more publicity about Bluetooth technology beyond its control;
- Adding free, in marketing its hardware box, a mini-USB cable.
Conclusion: flee this manufacturer that does not respect its clients.
