Normal household coffee machine: tastes somehow too thin, like dishwater. In addition, these machines (water transport by vapor pressure) calcify constantly due to their primitive construction.
Nespresso: ideal for an espresso, although only 2 varieties for my taste are really useful (the 2 strongest). Unsuitable as coffee. The Lungos are very thin and only deliver half a cup. Also very expensive.
ESE pod machine: better than Nespresso, more variety of coffees, but also not suitable for coffee, Lungos also too thin.
French Press: horrible dishwater and always coffee grounds in the coffee. Since I convert yes rather still for tea drinkers.
Italian moka coffee: this is also available with integrated heating (like a kettle) and provide an excellent strong coffee. Disadvantage: high coffee consumption amount by design fixed. Cleaning and tidying up somewhat complicated to use.
My last attempt was then the Aero Press, because of a reference in the coffee network forum, and I'm thrilled! The result is comparable to the mocha pot, cleaning is very simple (just rinse under running water) and the cost is minimal. With coffee quantity and degree of grinding can experiment without having coffee grounds in the finished product.
Unlike other reviews I find the included accessories handy. The spatula penetrates during stirring accurately to the bottom before without damaging the filter paper. The funnel is handy if you fills around the powder from a coffee grinder in the Aero press.
As a coffee grinder I can recommend the Cloer 7580 Electric coffee grinder. The stainless steel cup with the ground material can be removed and so easy refilling.
