There are some months I had subscribed to a magazine which featured World War II "day to day". Readers of this journal fault stopped to look and I "left hungry" from July 1942 ... There are some weeks I was attracted by the title of the book by Antony Beevor but especially by the comments, eleven at the time, all five-star, but one who regretted that the book did not cover enough solid ... which, obviously, is not a negative comment ... So I proceeded to buy this book. One commentator player speaks of this book as "the Bible" of the Second World War. I fully share this view. I admire this progress, step by step, month by month, this World War II. This book, full of anecdotes and comments, allows to link such an event in Asia, Europe, Africa, etc. A very good example: Yalta. Which could make an entire book is told in a few pages that can have an informed opinion on the "sharing" of Europe. Roosevelt, the big fight, "Monty" particularly in a few pages, the analysis is complete. For anyone interested in this History passage, this book is above undoubtedly all other: this book is the "Bible" of the Second World War ... P. WHIP
