After 3 months of testing I come to the following conclusion:
The Image
==> Really top notch - more is not in the price range definitely! The HD picture from Sky or ARD HD, ZDF HD and so is a dream. Really great, clear, sharp image. My wife and I are absolutely thrilled and my friends are envious. What do you want (s) more? :-)
Sound
==> For everyday TV (RTL, ZDF, etc) really full OK, but I recommend a soundbar or a 5.1 system for full cinema experience - particularly from 55 inch television and Hollywood blockbusters in BluRay-quality !!
3D image
==> For "normal people" satisfactory, for absolute "3D freaks" flawed. But honestly - how many times you look 3D ?? The question everyone must answer for themselves. I like 3D NOT - I get headaches and the goggles just annoys me. I will not use the.
Since I operate the TV through the Sky receiver, I can say nothing about the typical television features such as TV Guide, Teletext or switching.
For all people who want to have a really optimum picture, I posting times following settings. Just try, I find the settings class.

**** Well for me the most important ==> Streaming over a NAS or other sources ****
I own a Synology NAS 713+. I have the TV (a FritzBox 7390) connected via a LAN cable to the router, where the NAS is connected (logical!). The Sony TV connects via DLNA immediately with the NAS and play movies from tadelos - provided you have the Media Player activated in the NAS and the two devices are on the same network (95% of cases).
==> Important tip for all Synology fans <==
in the settings of Media Player from Synology there is the item "Permitted DLNA devices". MediaPlayer explicitly tell where in the sub-item, the Sony TV is a DLNA client (a pull-down menu item, the Sony TV has an extra selection point). Just daily - is self-explanatory. After that, the DLNA is still better and more smoothly.
The streaming image is smooth - start playback immediately and without delay. MKV, AVI, MPEG, MP4 - and what else is there anything so - are the TV no matter. He plays everything from possible. Even large BluRay movies with 40GB size, in 3D and DTS sound plays the TV - cable connected - from easily.
However, it may be that complicated, unusual and rare formats quite cause problems. Such formats are also preparing other TVs problems (definitely experienced at Samsung). I recommend using a free tool, easy to convert to this format and is good. I personally own the TV now 3 months've etc. about 50 films, series watched. I've experienced only one file / movie that takes place has the TV does not - and because it was the sound. Therefore - HAMMER !! Who DLNA Streaming and want - full recommendation from me.
If the TV via wireless LAN (ie radio network) to the router - and thus is then also connected to the NAS - there are problems with very big films (tested by me in films greater than 10, 12 GB). But this is not due to the TV, the router or NAS - but simply on wireless. The transfer rates over wireless are just miserable and underground. Drivers who look at the wireless transfer of approximately 6 to 8 MB per second (with optimal settings, at cable in gigabit LAN, this value is about 110 MB per second), also need not be surprised that at large Full HD with DTS sound like to stuttering or crashes happen films - especially if other family members besides surfing yet. That's just as in a radio network and hard to change.
Smaller films (up about 3 GB in size) run with less resolution and stereo sound via wireless flawlessly and fluently (enough for wireless loose) - if the bandwidth is not "eaten" by other family members (son listens to music on the smartphone at Spotify and daughter looking video on the tablet at YouTube).
Note and Tip ==> Also Powerline (ie network over power lines) is not much better than wireless and really no alternative to cable.
My absolute Tip ==> If at all possible, and you do not have to tear down half the house for it, insert a LAN cable and they forever rest and no more trouble. Because only with cable you always have 100% power, no loss of speed or crashes. Disturbances through the vacuum cleaner, a microwave or a neighboring network are then history - and much much safer it is also. So ==> cable lay or otherwise at the next renovation think about it and put a cable. I personally have wireless banished from my life and I regret it a single day.
Amazon Instant Video is running smoothly and smoothly - but need to charge more. I think with the next update is done this problem on its own. The video portal Amazon I find super and use it often. Great Thing !!
Also Watch Ever, Netflix or max cathedrals run super fast and fluid. Only manchaml takes the launch of the apps a few seconds longer. But me do not mind that. I personally prefer Amazon - is just already in the price of Prime with it.
The other Internet applications and Apps run smoothly and how to install the phone and handle. Personally, I find the superfluous with a TV. Why can the current weather on the TV show - there are still the smartphone. Well - Who needs it, for my sake.
Anyone have a hard drive with movies adjoins his FritzBox via USB, can also enjoy streaming. The FritzBox (vorausgestzt the Media Player in the Fritz box is activated) is then also a NAS and for this, the same applies as with the Synology NAS. Works flawlessly and tadelos. Clever people will say now, you can also connect the hard drive directly to the TV. Yes that's true. This works also properly and the TV plays the movies from the hard disk. But the constant umstöpseln between FritzBox and TV came to me out of the question ==> if only the "fumbling" behind the TV, because this depends on the wall. No thanks. Then rather streaming.
*** My Conclusion ***
1. If the image is ordenlich, I have nowhere seen a better picture. This is perhaps also the fact that none of my friends or friends have a "3000 TV". Incidentally ==> In various forums on the Internet, there are other image settings. Just try it.
2. If the TV is connected via cable, the streaming pleasure via DLNA from a NAS or a FritzBox is no obstacle. Via W-LAN there problems due to technical reasons - unless the router is 2 meters from TV off. But then you can connect a cable equal :-) !!!
I hope I could help. Questions about the TV - also on other issues - I will answer. About a positive evaluation / feedback from my review I would be happy.
