I have a single-family house and want to put on my Fritz box into the living room to a D-LAN cable, because with the speed of Wi-Fi sometimes insufficient. At first I tried to appropriate adapters from AVM and came to a speed of about 75MBit. However, as I have a 150MBit Internet line, this was not very satisfactory. Because you do not always read the best on the AVM adapter I now resorted to TP-Link in the hope that it achieves better performance here.
Now I have extensively tested the adapter and can not be described as absolutely suitable. The max. Transfer speed is 0,5MBit. So completely ridiculous! Our house is a fairly new house with modern electrical wiring and no special restrictions with respect to this technology.
Therefore, the adapter go back and I will stay with the repeater solution, after all brings me good 250MBit.
