Despite the ban, Lloyd joins together with his friends to a small group. They want to prevent the impending sacrifice Colette and still complete the world of renovation in order to save their world Sylvarant
The story is on the whole very exciting and told lovingly and acts of friendship, betrayal, despair and hope.
Episode 2
Dawn of the New World takes place two years after its predecessor and introduces two new heroes. Firstly, Emil Castagnier and secondly Marta Lualdi, who make their way to find the cause of a catastrophic change in their world. On their travels they cross UA Lloyd, Colette and Sheena.
- Control:
The battles take place in real time, as it moves across a battlefield and can act directly on the enemy. Either the whole group are controlled by the console or the players take these yourself. Depending on how many players are present, up to four people together deny the fighting. The tactic can be changed at will. For this purpose, any character on many individual special attacks that are retrieved in the fight by pushing a button.
- Gameplay:
The World in two episodes are each designed very large, so there is a lot of secrets to explore and discover. Incidentally, you are of course also involved in struggles that have to be mastered. But not only the upper world has secrets, but also the various dungeons, through which you have to fight. From forth gameplay, it is a classic J-RPG, which is very good but interspersed with his dynamic fighting.
- Graphics:
The graphics are with today's standards not quite comparable, you realize despite HD workup, the console origins. Whereby the 1st part I liked visually better. This is probably but on the used cell-shading technique, which is aging visually not as strong. However, both games look significantly more expedient from, besides HD course in 16: 9. Very nice cutscenes are, however, as in the originals, advised. This just look gorgeous and are designed visually very beautiful.
- Synchronization and texts:
An important feature of quality, especially in a role-play this format, is the location, in the form of synchronization and translation. The lyrics have been completely translated into German and here you realize that a lot of work has been invested properly. The spoken language in the game is either English or Japanese, even latter produced a fantastic J-RPG atmosphere!
- Conclusion:
Two Tales of Symphonia-parts-one notices her age despite HD cure definitely on, with that has kept better in the GameCube original compared to the Wii episode.
Nevertheless, true in both games just anything. The characters, the level design, the dungeons, the synchro, and the atmosphere; everything makes just huge temper. Who owns the original, it should perhaps consider whether they really need Chronicles; I have but they treated myself anyway! :-) Above all, it is a great alternative to the Final Fantasy series which unfortunately always further away from the traditions of J-RPGs.
Who gambled yet neither of the two Games for GC or Wii can access here safely and simply enjoy!
