To mention is that I was able to receive 13 ° East without any problems and with virtually full strength both Astra 19 ° East and Hotbird.
Thus, the antenna is zumindenst for these two satellites (and in good weather) absolutely enough! But you should also have enough reserves.
However, for my desired satellite is apparently too small or the satellite clearly too weak! At least compared to Astra and Hotbird.
I once read on the web that of the "scrap satellite 16A". Well now I know why ... :)
So I forgive not why only two stars because the product is so bad, but because it is advertised that you order, inter alia, should also receive Eutelsat 16 ° A.
In my case, it was simply "misleading".
In addition, the internal thread had not been reworked after painting two tested specimens. This meant that the screws were partially very stiff to mount. This should not happen in this price range !!
By the way, the plastic case acts sometimes very feeble. As long as the well can withstand outside outdoors the weather ??? .... well .... my mitlerweile over 10 years old mirror had somehow "fresh" - apart from the scheduled dirt - as the so precisely mounted "Flat" because of yet visible fastening and Feinjustagespuren on white paint.
When (subjective) impression stability compared to a similar picture emerged ...
I will probably not send the old offset including disturbing feed arm but retire. With him will I receive after all this "scrap satellite"! ;)
I wish all the still succeed, have fun with the part and always a good reception!
Addendum:
The scrap with the satellite is no longer correct. 2011 new named Eutelsat W3C was sent into space. Supposedly, one should make do in Central Europe with a 60cm antenna. Since indeed should the Selfsat H50 can match.
In with it has unfortunately not funkioniert. Did I do something wrong? And if so why was I the other two received so well? He is, after all, in the middle!
If there is someone who has geschaft it, please contact me! :)
