When I ordered this keyboard unfortunately, there was not a single review so.
Combined with the "interesting" product description, I was wondering what is to come.
Normally, I like to buy products that have a good quality and on just such reviews include.
Processing:
Although the keyboard is shipped to eienem Lufpolsterumschlag, the packaging is perfect.
The biggest surprise is the processing of the aluminum keyboard: Both the plastic of the keys, the aluminum Einfassug
and the aluminum chassis valuable aspect and very well made. For nearly 20, - I would not have expected.
Use with Samsung Diary Case:
The article touted the keyboard offers a full case.
Since I use the following Cases I was curious how this keyboard cooperates with it:
- Original Samsung Diary Case (Flipcover) in the book Design EFC 1G2NRECSTD (compatible with Galaxy Note 10.1) in garnet red
The answer is unfortunately simple: Not at all. You can put the tablet into a depression of the keyboard.
As holder a very small plastic holder is highly clicked per switch.
Trying to fix the keyboard in this fold diagonally fails both with folded protective fabric just like when the protective material extends above the bracket (I hope you know what I mean). So an operation with keyboard and Diary bag is zumnindest excluded as shown. Of course, the holding function of the Diary-pocket can be used then you put the keyboard just before it.
Without the Diary pocket the note stops as shown in the Tastaturfalz. For transport, the keyboard is clicked just in front of the screen and thus protects the display. Only the display. If you look at the keyboard closely, you can not expect more of course.
I now order me a separate protective pouch in which I can carry notebook and keyboard to stop the splatters.
Function:
The coupling is as simple as it is known from Bluetooth.
After pairing, the keyboard is working properly.
Amazingly the in the small room (Tablet size) all keys are placed very well and even there as shown a small aluminum space between the keys. This full aluminum enclosure underlines the value (a nice word!) Of the keyboard. In spite of these really limited space, the keyboard, at least, are properly served by me. Nice that the screen can now be better used.
QWERTY:
Yes, it lacks the German umlauts: Simply choose the desired vowel longer hold then in the pop-up menu, tap Enter for the first labeled letter and the umlaut appears. Complicated? Well, with umlauts wa would halt beautiful - clear.
But I think that no one seriously before has the keyboard to write longer documents. There are full keyboards but then tw. are as heavy as the tablet alone. The best thing about the keyboard: There's finally Cursotasten - no more fumbling with the cursor!
Other:
I have the keyboard not loaded yet: I do not know how long the battery lasts through.
The integrated special keys such as volume level and screen brightness does not work for me.
Maybe I need to activate somewhere, too. I got the keyboard simply unpacked and looked whether I like to work with it.
Conclusion:
For nearly 20, - you get a high quality, very light product in a neutral color. Clearly it would prefer to have the keyboard in garnet red. It exists but not in color. So never mind. My recommendation: If you do not want to hide in a black bag with integrated keyboard your beautiful tablet access here. No German layout is a shame, but still, the keyboard is too good not to order.
