Because I, before I decided to purchase this product, precious little information was found on whether the Converter with Apple's firmware (in my case: OS X Yosemite) is compatible, I want to write for those who a few lines, possessing an Apple product and want to digitize old audio cassettes. Caveat: It all works perfectly - if you know how! ;-) The package includes in addition to the tape deck, a USB cable, a user manual and a CD-ROM with software. Love Apple users, for the conversion you need only the cassette deck and the USB cable with which you connect the converter to the computer. Has proven to be Mac compatible - in my case - the supplied user as the software on the CD-Rom, which serves only the instruction for Windows PCs. Thankfully, Apple has its own devices with the software "GarageBand" feature. Because with this work converting outstanding.
