Logitech ergonomic keyboard: (will not be produced anymore) from 10 years old - here the keystroke was still fairly quiet even after 10 years but the buttons worn completely and already provided with grooves of the nails)
Microsoft ergonomic keyboard: 2 years old - keys quite scuffed but some keys (especially the spacebar) were exceptionally loud and because this key is very often used, this has my employees accordingly already annoyed.
So I have decided after a long search for the Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop.
It is extremely quiet (unlike any of the previous keyboards) and also the stop - both keyboard and mouse - is very pleasant, even if due to the compactness of the keyboard (which I know ergonomic keyboards have not been so closely connected) a few keys (blocks) are hard to find at first.
In itself, this would be basic for 5 star, but unfortunately Microsoft has blundered again:
- The numeric keypad is separated from the keyboard. This is used to and it is for some professional groups certainly very helpful to be able to lie down woandern the keypad where it is more pleasant to work (eg. As if you have to type very many sequences of numbers), just not for me. This is because the number pad through the bottom coating can not slip, because the rounded corners bottom of the device, however, always easy to side tilt when the keys are used on the fly.
Here you could possibly be able to find a way to connect the keyboard with the numeric keypad. Maybe a kind puzzle moderate hook and corresponding notch on the lower side.
- The mouse has 5 buttons though, but one of them is occupied by a stupid and totally senseless blue Windows key, which opens the Start menu, which only 4 buttons are for use. The bad thing about it that Microsoft is there a no way to prove this key different from what the many entries in specialized forums confirm, and even the popular programs for reprogramming the key assignment can not address this key. I have fortunately a script can set up to assign a different function to the button, but that does not create unfortunately more than 90% of the normal user and thus look through your fingers.
Especially this click this Set owes the star deduction. Otherwise it would have been a smooth 5.
