1. The inventory
Particularly annoying I find the new inventory. Indeed, there are no more. Objects in the real sense are passé. Instead, damage, health and other combat values can be increased by upgrades. From such upgrades, there are not many. They can be found on pre-programmed locations (unsurprisingly) or can buy them in one of the rare shops. Ahja, on Shops: The choice is because there are no more objects indeed, become a little lower. As a first impression: The great commercial city Illium has 3 stores, in which can be summed up 10 items to buy, which in turn only 6 items have a playful value (the rest are fish for the aquarium and similar senseless gimmicks).
2. The Story
The actual story gets the much more exciting and better staged quests to the group members into the background. One is really tied up at any time.
3. The World
The walk-in game areas are even smaller and more cramped than 1 part in The Citadel has become ridiculously small. Nice side quests but there is still. Also very disturbing: The level design is still "schlauchiger", just all like in a shooter. Consider where you best running along, how to attack, whom you first off - such tactical challenges the game is extremely rare.
4. error, bugs, inconsistencies
The game interferes with a number of logic errors. Sometimes one wonders why this or that dialogue options appear. Very often, one wonders with what answer you have just earned just Ruchlosigkeits- or Vorbildlichkeitspunkte. Furthermore annoy minor bugs and other inconsistencies: opponents who are stuck in the ground and be invincible. Broken script that ensure that characters in video clips "jump" instead of run. Phrases interrupted before its end. Also in the localization, errors crept in: The speakers talk sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, sometimes emphasized strongly, sometimes less, sometimes they cry, sometimes they talk normally - that then but sometimes without reference to tatäschlichen situation.
5. Dialogues
Contrary to previous reviews, I can not praise throughout the dialogues. Shepard works locally arrogant and reckless in Part 2. I remember a quest in which you as a result of disease, the quarantine zone was not allowed to enter. What do we do? Of course - we help out and eliminate the disease - on the pretext we are then allowed to penetrate into the quarantine zone. But how do we convince the guards believe that we can help? How about if you folds his arms and tried the following saying: "Listen, .... they have a problem and that's where I come in I solve problems.."? Who tasted this sentence which will not swallow even to the other dialogues. I myself, however, some passages were a bit clumsy in front - which could be due to the translation.
These points bothered me while playing but already very much, especially as role-playing friend who missed an inventory and suffers from the schlauchförmigeren Level Design.
Of course, improvements are noticeable: First and foremost like the fact that each team member has a truly unique character. The idea to win the loyalty of individual team members by quests is also good and has terrific housed in exciting quests. The Normandy is truly filled well with life. The motivated.
Overall, it is a great gaming experience with bland aftertaste. With a pressure-closed eye: Unrestricted buy recommendation!
