For me it was important that I can operate the basic controls the Soundbar with my TV remote control. Loud and quiet, ON and OFF, and MUTE (silent). To use the remote control for Soundbar is pointless why two remotes, wenns also goes with.
I have 4 SoundBar ordered for my Samsung TV. 2x Yamaha, Bose and once again the Samsung. Sonically While Bose was best, but unfortunately there was zero compatible with my remote control. The Yamaha with the external sub was great too, but turned up not one when I turned on the TV. The Yamaha with integrated sub can do everything the way I wanted. The Samsung came last because I was pretty sure that he can do it anyway, my TV's also Samsung. NE is clear!

Only I have it connected to a Toslink cable. Supersound, but I could not control my TV remote control it. What surprised me. Because with my old Samsung Soundbar walked the wonderfully without settings as Samsung and Samsung are compatible. The only thing was that the Soundbar not was concerned when I anknipste the TV but nothing more.
Therefore, I have this time connected with an HDMI cable and connected Aynet + to ON. Aynet + is there for, so you can control the sound bar with the TV remote control. Behold, it worked! Only the Soundbar has this time turned on when I turned on the television.
And now I was trying to sound Connect variant. Sound Connect is really great, because the sound bar is connected wirelessly to the TV. And it even works. Loud, soft mute and functioned. In the manual is that you can set an option that the soundbar turns on either the TV device on or off. Both together will not do. Oh yes, you read correctly. And the end of it is. Goes off, turn it does not automatically. The Samsung customer support confirmed to me that it does not work with my TV model.

Be honest ... how Sinnfrei are because these functions please ????? Even Kabelabhänging? Even Samsung Soundbar to a Samsung TV and nothing works properly. The Yamaha YAS103 can do everything with the Samsung TV remote control but the Samsung with the Samsung not ?????
One star deduction, since it fails to Samsung to make all 5 basic functions run at a time. The horny yet, which is also so in the manual. No Joke ;-)
Another star is deducted because it does not create the Soundbar to work themselves decently with his own private label. But Yamaha gets through that, so the problem seems to lie with the ill-programming of the soundbar.
If you have no problem to use two remotes, you should buy the soundbar. It is for a SOUNDBAR very solid and looks really good. And is also connected in wired really great! But if you do not want to handle with two devices, you prefer to buy the Yamaha, which is also very good.
