I am a die-Pink Floyd fan (with a slight slope to the Waters-party) and I've still allowed to remove this live album from the shelf again. "We do not need no education" added with the voice of Cyndi Lauper? Not the point! Make friends around a giant star ensemble has been playing, and as a live experience was that Wall show determined impressive. But is it really necessary that all even to publish on audio CD, especially the innumerable mishaps still had to be ironed out later in the studio? At the latest this background knowledge makes this "live recording" more than questionable. For me personally this album brings nothing, the studio original from 1979 is and remains simply the measure of all things, and if you want to "The Wall" hear absolutely live, one should rather for live recording of 1980/81 ("Is There Anybody Out There? ") access. I want to highlight positive but the good version of "Young Lust" and the original outstanding rendition of "Nobody Home", it's the two stars - that was it but also already.
