In a more or less distant future, on Earth, acid rain take their toll.
In the City of Forgotten Religions, the family holds a Tuvache "Suicide Shop".
Times are tough, the morale of the people is at half-mast and the "Suicide Shop" is successful because Tuvache will offer multiple ways to die (poison, hanging, etc ....).
The Tuvache parents have three children.
This little world grows sluggish, dark thoughts or depression except one: Alan, the youngest, who was born smiling, eternally cheerful, to the dismay of the family ...
But what will we do with this little ???

We love this book or not at all, depending on whether or not one clings to his caustic writing, black humor, a world rather offbeat ...
I really liked!
Behind this "pessimism" room, we follow the evolution of this little family, upset by the antics of the youngest (especially endearing!) ......
The book reads very quickly, and it is with regret that I turned the last page!
One small problem: I did not like the outcome of the story, in the last sentence at the end of the book! It is too brutal!
To reserve to curious fans to originality and dark humor!
To read!
