After hearing the first single "Prom Queen" long ago, I came towards the album with a huge skepticism, but one should the day you know, not chickens before they hatch, and so I am now very well reingehört in the album. The beginning with "American Stars" is not something special, a solid rock banter with the singer Shanell does a good job. The 1st single "Prom Queen" I found after the first time you hear just "horrible", but over time, the song has somehow entfalltet and especially the aggressive Instrumental by DJ Infamous and Drew Correa is great fun. On "Ground Zero", the guitar riffs roar just as past us and the rich drums give the song the right flavor, whereas "Da Da Da" is very playful with his brisk instrumental. A steady hand proves Weezy on the produced by Kevin Rudolf and Cool & Dre "Paradice", which very chill comes despite its heavy drums, which left at Weezy's verses and the tasteful accompaniment in the form of guitar and some strings in the chorus is instrumental. The 2nd single "On Fire", which once again comes from the feathers of Cool & Dre can also be seen. The Instrumental gets through the murder kickbass awarded correctly pepper and sounds well with the raplastigsten from her style, it comes the whole album. A true highlight is the collabo with Eminem called "Drop the World". Mysterious Melodies enter a fullminanten Beat the tone and make this song a thoughtful masterpiece, in which Slim Shady with his Part particularly shines. Now comes my favorite track "Runnin ', in which again Shanell has joined the side of Weezy. Relaxed with a guitar is the song an exciting entry whose voltage Barometer is again strapped by the smoothen drumbeat into the air and then once Shanell comes with her emotionally poignant chorus used, it is finally out! Glasklar must not be missing Kevin Rudolf on "Rebirth" and he has the honor not to be take on the produced by him, Travis Barker and DJ Infamous "On Way Trip" one of the party to be, which is undoubtedly of a strongest songs on the album counts. Who likes it a bit crazy and crazy likely to "knockout" have his pure joy, which is already so ready a certain breeze stops punk elements in the hindquarters and probably übelst horny suitable for snowboarding ... ya know;). But it was somehow clear that Dwayne Carter, so Weezys real name will not make it to throw a complete stroke of genius with this album on the market and so come here also some negative aspects to the fore. "Get a life" for example, is totally uninspired and boring and not just more potential shows us the total wacky "The Price is Wrong" on.
Lil Wayne's new album "Rebirth" will probably not be able to continue the success of "Tha Carter III," which is simply because that is Weezys trip rather than patronize in the Rock area many listeners. Some may make friends with it, the other not so ... is just but a bold and innovative project, it remains forever. On a scale I would classify "Rebirth" in the good average, because in addition to some crackers album has just also have solid songs that although you can listen but not cut off your feet and of course not forgetting the occasional confused total failure. Thus, it is only once wait and see approach to Weezy with "Tha Carter IV" again Back 2 the roots goes.
