An upgrade from the Kindle was matured and It was supposed to be the Paperwhite. But the possibility of "unlimited" memory via SD memory card spoke for the Sony Reader. I have a library for the space in the Paperwhite would not have been sufficient. Read all local and offline completely, that was the goal. Evernote and Facebook connectivity of the reader I still tested: works, but I'll hardly use it. I have a day needed to check the most important functions, am completely satisfied and must not go into the details: The Sony Reader is absolutely on par with the Kindle. Only, which is why only four out of five stars: the installed dictionaries Dictionaries are all (I need at the German texts not) and, unfortunately, is not a German-speaking foreign words later installation. I do think that that's a bitter pill in an otherwise very coherent package.
