At 4 years old, my son still refused to use the toilet without a reducer, while his cousin three years is no problem. A bit much at home as it was necessary each time to install and remove the gear, and downright problematic elsewhere (public places, among friends, etc.) in the total absence reducer.

With this footstool perfectly adapted to the bathroom, he finally managed to pass the course. It seeks more gear with us, he rides alone on the toilet; and elsewhere, now just to help him sit and it's done.

The footstool is Babybjörn good quality plastic, durable and easy to clean.
It has a non-slip rubber layer (in white on the photo), but also on top underfoot. No risk of slipping so even wet (bathroom, toilets ...).
