First of all, this is a comparison between these three wear.
ERGObaby Original:
+ Patch pocket
+ Not so many buckles
Securing tabs +
+ 3 carrying positions (abdomen, side, back)
+ Soft material
+ Quickly adjusted to the new carrier
- No headrest
- Newborn insert must be purchased separately.
- Something uncomfortable transition from waist to seat
- Hood stows not
Manduca:
+ Back panel is extended, thus resulting in smaller a headrest
+ Integrated neonatal use
+ Very comfortable waist belt.
+ Super transition from waist to seat
+/- Many buckles to adjust, but it can also confuse and annoy when 2 or more people want to wear. Not fast switch.
+ Hood disappears in back panel
+ 3 carrying positions (abdomen, side, back)
+ Carrier cross to bear
- No bag
- Slightly rough material
ERGObaby 360
+ Super soft seat, padded especially great on the legs
+ Adjustable waist belt due to Velcro totally easy
+ Additional fourth carrying position (belly facing forward !!! until seven months !!!)
+ Very easy to adjust to new wearer
++ Integrated headrest !!!!
+ Great material
- Few colors selectable
- Waist belt not as convenient as in Manduca
- Something uncomfortable transition from waist to seat
- Newborn insert must be bought separately
CONCLUSION: (school grades)
ERGObaby Original: 3
the lack headrest is a problem especially for the little ones. Are they tired, the head can sometimes already be difficult. The bag is great but the herumbaumelnde hood annoying.
Manduca: 2
The extensible back panel can replace the headrest. The hood is stowed neatly. The hip belt super comfortable. But a bit rougher material OK. We have many buckles and adjustment annoyed when one wants to change times rapidly between mom and dad.
ERGObaby 360: 1 minus
Super convenient, great easy of Velcro makes it very easy to switch between mom and dad, great padded. Only the transition from waist to seat shell is not so perfect. A key can be accommodated in the hood compartment sometimes 5 or translucent. A larger bag as ERGObaby original super but would not necessarily missing.
We opted for the ERGObaby 360 and the additional 50 euros worth.
BUT !!! Younger even with newborn insert. I wore the first four months with the Marsupi Breeze (grades 1) and that I would repeatedly do !!! On the ERGObaby we changed just so Papa can wear times.
