Before I decided to try out the times Verbatim blanks I bought my DVD blanks at Aldi with whom my burner arge had compatibility issues (he did not always adhere to or described them then only 4-fold rather than 8-fold).
Then I downloaded the latest firmware on the Plextorseite update and installed and to my recorder also fully enjoy (it can burn 16x) I decided after a few Rescherschen the Internet for Verbatim 16x blanks.
Of this I have now through 2 spindles and me there is no known failure. My burner accepted the DVDs properly, it makes it really fun to burn! I can not say anything, the few months that I use the blanks is of course turned out nothing about the life of DVDs.
The written data I could definitely read always properly until now. --- Therefore 5 star.
The only thing I have to complain about on the blanks is the following: In some blanks (about 2 of 10 blanks) I have in the middle of the blank on transparent plastic (ie not the place where the data is written) such Luftblässchen. That does not seem to be normal and to me (not known from Verbatim) also from old predecessor blanks. I do not know how bad these amounts of bubbles; Anyway, I had no problems. Since these amounts of bubbles and - if they exist at all - then turn relatively small I look over it. In my opinion, the blanks are still recommended. I recommend to try ne 25er Spindel (which I have also done) before there are problems with the burner and you annoyed that you bought 50 blanks that can be described only slowly with the torch for compatibility reasons.
