First, my well-known product in this area I can think of the headsets of beats, one in combination with the HTC One. Cute headphones, massively overpriced and underperforming sound.
Then there was the headphones of Jay's (of which I am a big fan), the Five'er. Unfortunately, by the comfort and the technology but not yet fully developed. The sound, however, was great.
And then it was already thin ... very thin.
In the meantime, I took advantage of some Bluetooth solutions that were indeed sound good, but, for example, on a flight useless or at a longer ride battery technically came to their limits. So further researched, eventually encountered the CX5.00G and at random order (although on the packaging now officially also LG, HTC and Sony ... the network is silent on precise equipment types but off). Not to mention that manufacturers of Andopridphones do well to use a uniform standard (so that it is attractive for third parties to produce Headphones for it), the Sennheiser work finally fully even with my Sony and my LG.
Pro +
+ The seat is excellent thanks to the curved shape of the light earrings and the supplied (3 pair) earpads. Even in sports the Sennheiser stay in place and do not fall out of your ears.
+ Remote control is typically easily accessible on the right cables, and especially the various buttons are reliably identifiable by touch.
+ Cables are a halfway house from flat cable and this extremely thin cable. Whether and to what extent this prevents a tangle of cables, the practice has to show. If the cable holding the Dicker but longer, then it was worth it.
+ Chic transport box is included. I do not think that this will find its way into everyday life (roughly the size of a Big-Pack and the reeling takes, thanks to ergonomic shape of the ear plug, the remote control etc. but longer. VMTL. Wander the Sennheiser so just so again in the pants / jacket pocket. But there is at least one box there.
+ Sound: I do not want here too bad going into detail (for the audiophile lovers: the sound is typical Sennheiser "impose" what for the mobile sector, besides Nebengräusche, but is almost perfect). The sound is really great: very homogenous, more present, almost dominant bass, but does not tend to override and powerful heights. With the right player on the phone you can here all (hip-hop, classical, rock, R & B and more.) Enjoy unrestricted.
+ ... And also the micro, with telephone calls, leistetet best services. Even in the car, I will clearly perceived without engine noise etc. highlighted unnecessarily.
Neutral o
o still it is a mystery to me why Sennheiser is this L-plug ?! I know to date no cell phone / MP3 player that has the 3.5mm jack on the side ?! In practice, when the phone is in your pocket so, then the cable always cuts a curve or kinks in the worst case even from.
o the entire headphones are made of plastic. I write deliberately neutral, as arguments as "... headphones go usually not the ear plugs, but the cable broke. So why do I need eg Aluhörer as Atomic Floyd?" are of course perfectly justified. And of course, also has advantages: light weight, stylish design, they are not as cold in the winter, etc. Nevertheless, aluminum products have what, and when it is only the subjective feeling of quality, if the remote control is robust metal. Apart from that my starting bearing fine scratches on the piano lacquer surface.
Negative -
- ... So far nothing is noticed.
Conclusion:
If I compare the price Sennheiser with equivalent products (. Klipsch, Atomic Floyd and many others), then the CX 5.00G almost a bargain are currently ~ 60.00 (allegedly - not tested themselves - are also the CX 2.00g with diverse Androidmarken running at an even lower price). Who but sonically received little compromises, who looks like to change the volume on the cable and exceptional level of comfort, which should strike here. From my side a very clear recommendation!
