There has probably never been a more impressive and more imposing legacy as the last "real" album of the legendary British band Queen. The album was recorded in the last match of the devastating disease Freddie Mercury's AIDS. Nevertheless, he has tortured himself driven to incredible acts instead foreclosed and insichgekehrt the last months of his life to spend. So every song is imbued with this melancholy, that this album is unlike any predecessors who were always ironic, funny and pompous. Innuendo sounds much more serious and already at first hearing is a clear that something comes to an end, a great era. The repertoire is once again typical versatile, from soft cuddly ballad ("Delilah"), pompous rock ballad ("Innuendo") to add rock-hard rock ("Hitman") is everything. And contrary to many other albums can be found this time also no non-starter, every song is unique and convincing. Here there is so much quality, unique songs, many of which bands would dream to have even one of them brought in their lives. Getting Started heard "Innuendo" which is reminiscent of Bohemian Rhapsody, and yet is quite different. A song that hear even after 1000. times loses none of its fascination, and surprise you with ever new facets. Particularly outstanding are here and the spectacular guitar solos and Mercury's inimitable voice at the end ("You can be anything you want to be / Just turn yourself into anything you think That You Could Ever Be ...). "I'm going slightly mad" is then the only song that corresponds to the old Queen character most likely, light and fluffy, not taking itself too seriously, but very memorable. The video is a real eye-catcher, necessarily watch. "Headlong" will come back rocking, crazy continued, and developed while listening to a crazy pace, animated almost dancing. The lyrics are just awesome (or brilliantly simple). "I Can not Live With You" is a kind of power Lovesong, very powerfully sung with amazing sound effects, a catchy tune. "Do not try so hard" is sad, makes both the lyrics and the song that almost sounds tortured and partially affected. I believe in a höreren voice Mercury has never sung. No Chartsong, not catchy, but still deeply impressive. "Ride the wild wind" is trendy, with a lot of enthusiasm and choirs, quite nice, but nothing more. In "All God's people" one is often divided, either he likes it or not. My taste is not, yet it is in normal musical scales happy medium. "These Are the Days of our Lives", an absolute highlight of the album. Soulful, thoughtful and yet peppy, my grandiose lyrics, already a kind of farewell hinted, because looking back often comes close to the end. The song perfectly, the legendary video (the last Queen video, in black and white, with the unforgettable "I still love you" of Mercury at the very end of the song). If I am not mistaken, the song in England was also voted Song of the Year. "Delilah" is then the already pochene cuddly ballad that is on virtually every album there. The song is dedicated to Mercury's cat, so much for that. Carried out to the end of the album again a veritable crescendo of songs. First, the rocker on the album, "Hitman", similar to "I Want It All" very powerful, a real treat. The often turned singing is brilliant. A total contrast "Bijou", an instrumental song which is only interrupted in the middle of a short (and very good) singing performance. What can rausholen his guitar all May, is always impressive, especially here, where pain and sorrow are brought excellently expressed. At the end, finally is the swan song of Mercury's, his farewell song, even if it was still no one knew. "The show must go on" is one of the best songs that have arisen throughout the musical creative phase of humanity, it is not perfect for me. Taylor, Deacon and May draw on the same page, each does his best, and thus provide the 3 the perfect platform for Mercury's vocals and his incredible final solo ("My soul is painted like the wings of butterfly / fairy tales of yesterday will grow but never die / I can fly my friend "), which is second to none more dramatic. Mercury was here reached the peak of his singing. And even if it is difficult to make the words a result, the show must go on, even without the genius of Mercury, even without Queen. This album is a must: for fans, for expectant fans and everyone else.
