To supplement: Amazon service in connection with repairs is exemplary, the Sony service center performs the repair within a week of. It's okay, but overall disappointing that the errors occur so often.
Has anyone had similar experiences?
UPDATE 07/08/2014
Instead of the second repair Sony Service Center has a free exchange for BDP-S1200 available in the form of a "service unit", the whole repair process took 5 working days and the replacement unit was there. The "service unit" is a new unit, the unit I can not recognize signs of wear (piano lacquer coating, hairline cracks occur here very quickly even by using a duster), and the remote control was never used in my opinion. Even the packaging know no traces on - with the status of the unit so I am very happy and it also plays - great! - DVDs, without causing a system crash.
But something else struck me: on the BDP-S1200 I have a very different version of the Amazon Prime Instant Video - app, as I now have apps for Ever Watch and max cathedrals. The latter two were on the BDP-S 1100 does not even exist, and were never shipped through updates - why?
Do I have to draw the conclusion that I need a new player in the fall, when Netflix launched on the market, because the Netflix app is not delivered on older devices via an update?
The did you indeed prima devised SONY ... * koppschüttel *
