I think this album namely an absolute aberration of taste. How can you as a jazz-trained "artist" only as a lard crime. I would argue that the evaluation of this album just does not "matter of taste" is but a question of appreciation of musical quality here. Since classics are doused in strings with a thick sauce - simply unbearable for me. Who would like to hear strings and orchestra of should nevertheless listen something real - there is so much fantastic, nuanced, inspiring "Classic" for orchestra, on the other hand, this album is a step back in the Stone Age - for jaded listeners who prefer to sprinkle to let.
Too bad, because I had read in a magazine just an interview, in which Diana Krall me through their likeable and unpretentious answers (I was very surprised) and interesting view is noticed on things. But already there has me their admiration for Lady Gaga's new album a little startled.
