3 stars for 5 ° cooling.
3 stars mean according to Amazon "not bad" - I think this review fits. The cooling pad is not bad but not good either.
It would be good ...
... A greater cooling capacity.
... A departure and off button.
... And built by a USB hub (some have even cheaper cooling pads)
... When continuous control already, then please more power. I could not imagine a use case where you want to get less than the said average 5 ° cooling. What then the dial? This would be useful for all above 5 ° - because the fan be sure audible.

Speaking audibly: Yes, the fans are very quiet (+)
The metal mesh is chic, functional and stable (+)
The laptop is steady on (+)
The fans are positioned freely - which has no other cooling pad in the dimension (+)

All in all, recommended if you do not expect miracles. On my system the 5 degrees cooling capacity are sufficient to not slip into the "red zone" at full load (CPU / GPU).

Nevertheless, I still see development potential.
