One can only welcome the hard work that has been done on the dialogues and the characters that make up the scenario. Finally out of soft characters, smooth and without depths always tinged with a sickening Manichaeism. Now there are still weaknesses and above all inefficient statistical system of the points of characters that is not explained everything (I put a point of charisma, that's what? Impossible to know), fights that leave you often an approximation printing (the sequence of spells and so fast that if you want to play seriously, we are forced to bludgeon the pause button every second and finally a guided scenario too, the worst being by far the totally chaotic management of the battle mode camera prevents you almost always see your distant enemies (not practical when they are archers ...). But let's not be negative. The decorations are beautiful, character creation is a joy and your companions are for once will not hurt, have a certain charisma. The fights are devastating spells and we regret as usual the omnipotence of mage type characters (or at least, the fact that other classes do not require any investment in the gameplay (usually 3 skills to click during the fight until they are recharged slowly ...)
Do not spoil our enjoyment however, I took pleasure in complete dragon age and 4 out of 5 stars score seem entirely justified given the burden placed on the shoulders of the game supposed to be the heir of Baldur's Gate ( let us be frank, it's a mix between neverwinternight and mass effect but certainly not the Baldur's Gate).
