The router does have 3 internal antennas, however, are acc. To instructions only 2 antennas wirkich active (Why the maximum 300 Mbit / s). What the third antenna is now that is questionable. Perhaps redundancy?
I have several wireless networks and have selected around me the least used channel.
Net words were max. 120 Mbit / sec (dynamic) with "good" signal strength. This, however, still vary between about 60 and 120 MBit / s.
Now I was hoping when I go to the 5GHz frequency band that I then come to the hoped-for 300Mbps.
Here, however, I did not have the ability to enable 40MHz channels, but only 20MHz, which already means that even with the 5 GHz frequency band no 300Mbit are possible ... unfortunately. In addition, it is difficult to get right hardware for the PC, which supports 5 GHz frequency band.
Who does not need a high transfer rate, should buy the product. However, if you look for high transmission rates, should by routers with 3 or 4 active antennas for 3 (max. 450MBit / s) or 4 (max. 600M / s) look out parallel data streams.
