Now about this case "Icy Box" while aluminum and very sober.
It comes with a manual, a USB cable 3 Single (no double connectors for power) 60cm (a little stiff but it will) and that's it ...
Only regret not having a small pouch that comes with.
The finish is clean and the lid (very thin plate that slides and holds well, at least for now) is properly fitted.
The case is still his weight but it gives the impression of strength.
A small blue activity LED is present on top.
Only thing to watch, the USB connector which tends to hold the plug wrong (but seems own mini-USB on most boxes) while the slight indentation limit the thing. Rest assured it holds, it's just that the record is a little play and I hope that in time it will not cause contact problems.
Small precision for picky, this famous connector as usual is not attached to the case itself, but to the electronic card (which it is screwed to the hull), cutting the opening surrounds the assembly and maintains all that a minimum.
Installing the hard drive (in my case a 7200tours HSGT 9.5mm) is easy, just open the lid, insert the disc on an angle connectors and shove everything into the box without screws to tighten.
The disc with a small foam wedge on the end and is well maintained (in my case ...) and that it is in contact with the aluminum ensures good heat dissipation.
In practice I have not annoying vibration compared to other competing boxes and noise seems content (we do not mean scratch if we did not close the ear).
Conclusion, very happy with my purchase, remains to be seen the long-term reliability, but at least my problem is solved.
