The HP Pavilion is a real gem. Super clear and sharp images and the 3D function is just great. I have connected the monitor via DVI cable and all is well. The included glasses come in a respective pocket for goggles and glasses cloth. Whether 3D will only work with DVI I can not say because I have not tested the other options, unfortunately, there is nothing in the manual about it. I think it is also a bit poor in the section on 3D.
