As a longtime HP fan, I naturally looked back to a HP and luckily stumbled on this offer.
Really important to me:
- Faxing from the Glass
- Network ready
Interesting for me were the following properties of the Brother:
- Separate color cartridges
- Integrated WLAN
- A3 (!)
- Duplex unit included (!)
The delivery took place as usual very fast, unfortunately, was in the box no software CD. The software could be problems but suck from the Internet and install it.
I've tried all three connection options.
1. USB * - not an issue
2. LAN * - no problems
3. WLAN - went with me after installing LAN and subsequent activation of the WLAN, maybe I was too dumb ...
* The connections are hidden under the large (upper) cover of the machine. The only times you have to search and find, because in the manual available to me this will not be described.
The included ink cartridges are relatively easy to use from the front, one each for black, yellow, red and blue. The ink level is displayed on the printer screen and in the software for each cartridge separately.
The print quality of the included cartridges is perfectly fine. Specially kudos to the seller.
The paper tray does not have a particularly strong impression.
By pushing and pulling of various green plastic parts inside the paper "fixed" for the entire A3 drawer must be extended.
This is simple, but does not leave a solid impression with me. I'm going to order me for A3 an extra drawer in order not to unnecessarily provoke the rupture of (fimschigen) Plastic parts with a frequent change of paper from A4 to A3.
Duplex printing (duplexing) works right away, just click only before the actual pressure in the settings and select "Duplex".
I'm excited!
The menu guide of the tiny, but also easy to use with sausage fingers, touch screen is logical and easy to understand even without a manual.
Scan and Fax I have not been extensively tested in the short time, but I'm so excited about the unit that I now urgently wanted to give my review.
There is lt. Manual umpteen opportunities to integrate this equipment in a corporate network, with access restrictions and have-you-still-never-heard that I can not write professional criticism here.
From me: strong buy recommendation, since I could not find a similar device at this low price in person.
