The decision for the 7210PND fell compared to its competitors due to the price-performance ratio:
* Complete European maps (which I will definitely never go to certain countries)
* Built-in speakerphone
Overall, the navigation works flawlessly. It is always amazing very, very quickly, especially if you deviate from the recommended route. Very accurate is also the integration of traffic reports. The map display is excellent (I only use the 3D mode). However, sometimes the bad visibility depending on the sun. Sometimes the device responds very slowly to touch on the touch screen, but this is probably one thing the device settings.
As for the hands-free system: for someone who wants to make calls in the car constantly, it is certainly not optimal, in particular complain my callers that they hear themselves when the volume is at the highest level. While it is better if one goes down a bit, but then you hear even when driving is no longer much. Who but as I telephoned only sporadically in the car that can safely get over. Unfortunately, the transfer of the phone book does not work with my Sony Ericsson P1i, which is well but on the phone.
Biggest negative point was for me so far (as well for many other devices holder) to install the sheer impossibility of the subscribed FreshMaps. Also I got for 5 months getting the message "out of disk space". When I have the Navi recently joined again to the PC, a software update was performed and behold, since the update goes smoothly and without major memory card. I then decided to simply omit some countries.
Then actually remain only following negative points for me:
* No mains charger included. Initial charge I have done over the USB cable to the PC overnight.
* The carrying case you have to pay extra.
Since, however, are now fixed by the software update all operating defects and it comes mainly on the function of me 5 stars!
