This album gives us back the recordings of Cetra Fonit November 23, 1949 (two weeks after the first Cetra recordings of Maria Callas!) With the Suisse Romande Orchestra under the direction of Alberto Erede. Verdi arias (Il Trovatore, Aida), Puccini (Madama Butterfly, Manon Lescaut, Tosca) and Gounod (Faust, sung in Italian). In part two of cd, the 1950 recordings with musicians from La Scala in Milan. Recordings of 1 and 2 March, led by Nino Sanzogno with Puccini (La Bohème), Giordano (Andrea Chénier) and Catalani (La Wally); then the records of 8 and 9 May, under the direction of Antonino Votto, Mozart (The Marriage of Figaro, Susanna an unexpected but splendid), Boito (Mefistofele) and Verdi (La Traviata, Aida, Otello). A disc that touches the sublime (Vissi d'arte, La mamma morta ... and almost the entire album!), A young beauty in Tebaldi insolent tone.
