A Blockbuster

I myself would describe myself as GTA Veteran (again this V), respectively. Although I have only started in GTA II but for every part (the came out for PC or console) gambled with devotion. If you then still saw everything from above, and the whole thing was still very pixelated, then GTA has not particularly changed greatly over time. Except for graphics, Handlungsort, protagonist and scope, has not particularly changed a bit and it's still one of the favorite pastimes and not without good reason that probably the best video game series of all time. That after 16 years (first part) is still so much fun to live out virtual violence, would not have any Thought. At this point I would like to take a short moment of silence for all the beat prostitutes.

Enough. So. Now for the review. My personal favorite was San Andreas I have played through more than just a time to 100% and have also spent many hours in this beautiful game world. So it was really unacceptable to me what Rockstar Games has released GTA IV. Quite clearly, this is a matter of taste and I could play the world of part IV abgewinnen something but I was a little disappointed. I guess I was just spoiled to San Andreas. I just found the setting fit like chalk and cheese and I fell truly in the Groove Street and CJ.

The game world is absolutely gigantic and I found it around, Blaine County to focus on one city, Los Santos, and, and these represent just super great detail by the developers. Strong praise at the point, because it shows the attention to detail. Before I have dedicated myself to the great game, I can only times these impressions affect me. Only one game has me before so much packed from the atmosphere as GTA V and that was also a rock star Game namely Red Dead Redemption (RDR). GTA V and RDR have more in common than you might assume, what stands out very positively. The random events of RDR are in GTA V here. So it may be that you rumcruist and a faulty car found roadside, where a stranger would ride hitchhiking or traces of a ruptured deals in the desert I have already found. I like that very well, making the game world alive. The mini missions for foreign people, who I really liked in GTA IV can be found in Part V. How many these are I can not say. Generally, there are in the game world really a lot to discover at the same time and to make. A keyword for veterans I throw in again: Mount Chiliad;) How many hours I'm going to spend in the game world, I can not say because I can not estimate how long the story takes but less than 200 h (I am a intensiver- Connoisseur gamers and there is enough distraction) will probably not be. I myself believe I am only about 10 hours working intensively with the story, which I find really exciting but an informed statement, I can not yet give.

Now to the characters and at the same time to what has probably changed the most serious. There are three characters are all personalities failed in their way: Trevor, Michael and Franklin. One can actually anytime if one is not in a mission, switch to one of the three characters. The special is that the characters are not stand by in the meantime. They move independently through the countryside and I'm curious, in what funny situations I will change. It may be that you just outside of walking around in the boonies, joins Michael standing by Trevor just in a sports car at the traffic light or put to Franklin just in a brawl. Furthermore, the characters all have unique skills that can be very useful depending on the situation. These can be the way also evolve.

This character system was transferred but also in the missions. There is rarely a mission you alone going through. Here the developers have brought pure really great breath of fresh air. There breaking two of the characters in a high-rise building and a third are of an opposite building coverage. But do not worry, this is just one example. Since significantly more interesting missions to the switch system are included. So very big plus for this brilliant change.

For handling and engine I can only again contribute lay knowledge. Everything seemed again a tick more realistic than in GTA IV especially driving. GTA V also makes a racing game a really good character and I like that. Only when flying I had at the beginning of my problems, because I have not played more long Battlefield. But you need not really long to master control.

Conclusion:

GTA V - the wait was worth it. It has become an absolute cracker, typical with an absolutely brilliant story, marvelous graphics and much Rockstag black humor.

-The variety of mobile pedestals, aircraft, etc. is in my opinion more than in GTA San Andreas
-Total forget: there are wild animals and dogs, which can carry as a companion. The wildlife make the landscape more lively and with the dogs is a nice fun way
-habs already often read: GTA is, like all parts, in English and German subtitles can be set. I find it hard to follow the subtitles while driving and at the same time focused on the road. Who is the english, powerful with colloquial and slang, the irritating subtitles should switch off. All other helps only the Council: drive slowly to keep track of the sometimes very witty conversations
-A few environment challenges not trigger. I want to reach 100%, I have a walkthrough at hand and go to the places where happened a random event. So who knows where it will take place and if this does not trigger, easy and reload Quick Save, then it's usually (for some, it can also at daytime are)
