I use this product with a box minix neo x7.
Does the remote control works?
Yes. Overall it is satisfactory.
Most features are there and working properly. Well of course the pause button does not work with an Internet replay, but no more with this remote than any other.
Note that this is not like a Wii remote control: you do not "aim" not, all you do is move the mouse / remote control in a direction that is interpreted as a movement of the pointer on the screen. It's just a habit.
Compactness is correct. It's just a rather large remote control and a bit heavy.
There he has problems?
Some:
- Mouse tends to move alone (up, down, left or right). This is rare but it happens and it's very annoying.
- Mouse insensitive for short trips. Androids on systems that are already not at the top in terms of accuracy it can become very broken foot.
- If you plan to use joystick (after all it has left ... think) be warned: The keyboard does not support the two keys simultaneously. In short you can not jump and go in one direction. Neither move diagonally. Etc. Rather annoying :) But it can help on occasion.
- It is not comparable with the touch screen manipulation. Slower, especially one contact.
Would I recommend this product?
To be honest I connected a wired mouse beast laptop on my box. Level accuracy and speed of use is the day and night. Entering text with the onscreen keyboard (which in any case appears whatever happens) remains manageable to type a search or enter a password.
But having a fully compatible remote control to barely 20 it's still a nice touch.
Note that for a bit more you have a set of keyboard + touchpad without logitech wireless.
