The footbed is here no leather, but a synthetic material which is reminiscent of something extremely short faux fur. However, it is hard and not cushioned and resilient as in some Birkenstocks.
Personally, I would have the normal leather insole preferred notice However, no serious disadvantages. Only the environment is less dry, what I'm thinking mainly through the insole and not closed "construction" is due. Therefore I forgive 4 stars.
The sole is on smooth, hard surfaces a bit slippery (think only the beginning) - and more slippery than the normal black Birkenstock sole - no problem for me, should be mentioned. The rest is valuable and fine.
Birkenstock conveys establish entitlement durable products. It's also important to me - I want to use it for long. If the insole thus prove to be problematic after a long time I'll mention here.
