Tango has to live, what to experience body and soul. Quadro Nuevo have done in 2014 and is put up for a few weeks to Buenos Aires. Collected during their concerts and trips to the Argentine nightlife they have ideas and inspiration for an exciting album with 15 tracks. After a dozen longplayers Quadro Nuevo has done well to bring the pianist Chris Gall with the team. He gives the pieces a very individual touch. The instrumentation is chosen exciting. Besides bandoneon and double bass Mulo Francel plays saxophone and clarinet and Evelyn Huber can be heard on the concert harp. This makes listening to the songs into an intense experience. My favorite Por una Cabeza recordings of Carlos Gardel and Alfredo La Pera, Buscandote by Eduardo Scalise and El Ciego from Agustin Bardi, next to the album contains numerous original compositions of the band members. Very successful is also the graphic design of the CD that Olaf Becker is responsible. He has chosen as lime green color for the cover and booklet, to a fiery red font (the title Tango was realized in elaborate embossing, each letter is coated with a glossy film). Likewise, quality is the photo selection and typography of the 18-page booklet. Since a lot of love's inside comes out and accordingly also a lot of atmosphere.
