Startled by the noise around this book and watching some TV, I wanted to discover what lay behind this strange title but also get an idea about the author. The surprise was size. Finally a reporter saying unusual things on the basis of specific facts not so. The style is very good level despite a background in history and political science, I could understand the aspects that I suspected (but without proof) of the often unfortunate history of our country. The use prejudiced sources without any political sides on modern and contemporary periods shows a real commitment to objectivity. This is becoming rare and I understand to some pages that the return indisputable facts irritates up hysteria some television presenters who made vows of hypocrisy and bigotry but no Francophile. It is a book I recommend for those who like to understand our place in the world and the future. However, it takes some basic knowledge of history but I do read a schoolboy already "packed". The intelligence does not age!
