Packaging: true So the first impression. The headphones are high-quality packaged, it is still a neat case included, which is also provided with a "b". A nice accompaniment for the headphones.
Processing / Design: The build quality is really impressive. Everything is coordinated. I have the black Studio 2.0 with the red "B" on the side. The design is well thought out and very consistent. Even the Cinch connector which plugs into the iPhone is equipped with a red "b". The earcups completely envelop the ears (hence over-ear) and even after several hours of pain ears not (unlike the Solo 2, which are on-ear headphones and have exerted too much pressure for me). The ear cups are really soft and comfortable. The design and comfort I give therefore an outstanding touch.
Sound: Here's my opinion is somewhat divided. When I put on the headphones for the first time, I was really shocked by the noise, which is caused by the noise-canceling. I compare the example with a Bose headphones, so this clearly has its nose in the point forward (but also costs equal to 100 euros more). It is a pity that the noise canceling can not turn off. If you listen to modern pop / rock / indie / chill / Hip Hop Music, then the headset is a good choice in any case. The bass is very pleasant and otherwise one forgets in a quiet moment the world around them and be immersed in a great sound experience. But if you want to hear classical music or instrumental music, so can a noise already stand out negatively. After prolonged listening, I could almost completely hide (in a noisy environment, it does not fall on), so I'm going to the Studio 2.0 also retained.
General: For the rest of the features you no longer have to explain so much. 20 hours of battery runtime are perfectly adequate, the remote and mic are noted positive for Apple users. So you can always take a phone call, without having to remove the headset or on cold winter days switchen the music without having to take off the gloves must. A clear advantage! Furthermore, you can click on the left "b" and so turn the headphones in silence.
Conclusion: The Beats Studio 2.0 is a coherent product, which looks sensational, has a high wearing comfort and, of course, also acts as an eye-catcher / status symbol, even the sound is very well done for the current pop music. In de new generation one would have, however, work on the noise canceling and rework something here (hence a star deduction). Overall, this product can, however, recommend for the price of 200 euros. However, anyone who wants to enjoy classical music or the like and at least 300 euros to spare (and perhaps want to take deductions in the design), can confidently rely on other brands.
I am always satisfied and look forward to many Beats by Dr. Dre;.)
