Ostrock in classical music (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Puhdys, Silly, Karat ... those were the musical earworm singers, who have accompanied me through my childhood through and which are left to me to this day in memory - besides, of course, IC, City, Carousel and many others, but they are indeed on the first volume of "Ostrock in classical" or not represented only by Dirk Michaelis.

At first I was skeptical whether the new interpretations of old songs, as is often quite go in your pants and turn out to be useless ballast, but what is brought here from the old hits out, is simply beautiful. Even Silly is, and that is even more clearly, with Anna Loos sympathetic as a singer at a time and what she makes from "Bataillon d'Amour" and "Mont Klamott", in conjunction with the classical elements, simply has no equal in vain. In addition to these tracks, "Albatros" appears, sung by Claudius Dreilich as Another notable song, the unparalleled spread goosebumps mood and had me never noticed before. The rest is fine, but does not come close to the genius of this new interpretations.

A small disappointment, the pictures of Dirk Michaelis, which acts somehow much more feeble than in his live performances - but are "a little fish under the ice" and "When I left" continues to timeless classics, which are the classical arrangements to shame ,

The fact that not all tracks will represent highlights for me but, due to the mentioned ingeniously reinterpreted pieces, no depreciation base. Each fan of the artists represented and Ostalgiefreund comes to this collection by little. If you want to be sure that he also likes the thing, which can also only once antesten a single MP3 here at Amazon.
