Eragon, Tome 1: Eragon (Paperback)

Customer Review

Being a big fantasy reader, I found this story more exciting. Certainly the characters lack the psychological depth of those of Robin Hobb, but what the story loses in description, it gains in action. For the beginning to the end of this first volume, the hero knows no respite. The universe, which is certainly very much inspired by that of Tolkien, enchanted me because I enjoyed to find these elves and dwarves if these individuals but so magical.

The relationship between Eragon and Saphira heroes strap is particularly engaging and meets our desire to bond with this creature of legend.

In short, I devoured litttéralement this first volume of the trilogy and I recommend it. And even if it is in the youth department, it is a fantasy novel for all ages.
