Comes with batteries required for its operation, this rangefinder is accurate, immediately giving all the required measurements (distance, area and even volume). On extremely simple use, it quickly prove a valuable tool for any handyman .... especially if it is not always well developed level calculations ... I also liked the fact that it comes with a plastic cloth pouch that can hold on to the belt (Velcro tab that surrounds the belt) and allows to have always at hand.
