After Orson Wells and William Hurt as Mr. Rochester this film is for me the best with Ciaran Hinds. Ciaran Hinds seems directly as Mr. Rochester to have jumped out of the book. He is a fabulous, but not so well-known in Germany, an actor. But Samantha Morton as Jane is ideally occupied. The story was indeed falsified something, but that does not matter. For example, we are not told, married under what circumstances Mr. Rochester Berta and he has not even inherited Thornfield so long. Blanche Ingram's character also does not correspond entirely to how he was portrayed in the book. It does not come out well, that St. John and his sisters and cousins Cousar of Jane and Jane are inherited a lot of money and no longer is so poor. But you can not put everything in such a film, of course, otherwise you would have to make a series of it. In any case, no longer be a going on this version. I have at least 6 times already looked at him. Hopefully soon I have time for the 7th time!
