I had read "Exceptional C ++" by Herb Sutter before this one, it's harder to read, but more comprehensive and deeper. Therefore, if we leave aside the part STL book I have not been very helpful. Either it is easy to read, well built, clear enough, I think this is a good first approach to C ++ code rather good.
