If the intrinsic quality of this external hard drive is not in question, it does its job at a low price in most cases, it is nevertheless true that connectivity remains too fragile and little time generate a clash causing "death" of the disc even if everything seems "normal" connecting. A few tenths of a millimeter properly attached disc side and it's not recorded program hours (lived on smart tv) where well after a couple of years a record that simply will not turn on permanently (on live also after a final backup after disk cloning). 1TB models and have improved and this is not a challenge, the connection owner disk side still hurts me.
