POD little too pop, but otherwise a cool disc!

After a long wait for new material POD bring finally "Murdered Love" out.
On the whole, the band performs the continued what they were used to from the past albums. No continuous great album, but interspersed with some hits that could make it back to the top.

The access from the song "Eyez" and "Murdered Love" is Hammer. Heavy guitars, cool grooves, just POD Feeling. So it must sein.Anschließend it goes with "Higher" and "Lost In Forever" more a little more lovely to listen to the Pop-corner, but still.
The song "West Coast Rock Steady" would have the guys but then be able to give. Boring, annoying and not at all well done.
With beautiful then a really beautiful ballad with great text has found space on the disc. Followed by the two hammer song "Babylon The Murderer" and "On Fire". Babylon The Murderer is for me the best song of the CD, he just has something new, something surprising and is still POD.

Bad Boy is then times total in the POP and Radio-corner, but you can still smile while listening.
Panic & Run and I Am are again a little rockigeres attempted end. In I Am, I find it a pity that there is POD often on the "F ***" word served. This does not fit the band and their Christian setting.

Conclusion:
Actually, exactly what you'd expect from POD. No continuous killer album, but peppered with many hits. Good thing the guys are still there and want to start again!
