Tastes are, thank heaven, different and so it would be waste of time to argue about. But reviews / reviews are more than one "I like it / I do not like" and therefore I allow myself a contradiction to the reviews "The advantage of the situation" with just one or two stars dismiss as hazardous waste. Undoubtedly, among the twenty HRK studio albums before this better. Technically better lyrically profound, compositionally complex. Nonetheless, the new album is an all around successful fragment in the ever expanding Kunze-cosmos. It is easier, better mood than many of his predecessors. Sadness and melancholy, or the isolation of a problem of maladministration are now times per se profound, as it may be happiness and joy ever. The greatest works of art have never "Oh, what I feel today probably" about whether book, image, film or poetry and music. But in the reverse conclusion, I would not do without appropriate songs for joyful moments of life because of it - that would be cloudy, so I am Kunze grateful that he even something "eject", otherwise we would have to rely on happy occasions to DJ Ötzi or Wolfgang Petry - and the can really no longer want any! Then maybe a good-humored, even if not quite as deep Kunze. Kunze bothered us now (2011) since exactly thirty years with his works. There are 21 regular studio albums, 10 live productions, 2 couplings also contain carefully selected 10 books with some hundreds of texts that have not been set to music. With appropriate care of the artist, chances are good that the universe is expanding Kunze-yet another thirty years (Charles Aznavour is also still active). And to stay with this picture is "The advantage of the situation" in the universe of Star of happiness. And so very true indeed that not, because with "The silent guest", "ice-free" and "In the middle of the hourglass" Kunze makes sure the Abum not have to suffer for tonal underpainting a garden party. There must then probably the colleague from the Oetztal ran. Ultimately, it is with "I love you" even an absolute sensation succeeded! We're talking still of the Kunze of usually long stirred the words and phrases through his head and shakes until he tells you what he wants to say, just as it has not been said before him. If that Kunze suddenly realized unequivocally and with no room for ludicrous interpretations says "I love you", then wins a silent love song suddenly an enormous power, because it is so unlike him that one must assume that he thinks that actually serious. Kunze is on this album just once not only head and why actually not? A beautiful album, not his best, but a good one.
