The subtitle of "Time Crisis" is an excellent summary of the idea behind this book: "A crisis is no turning back possible must therefore invent something new.".
In a clear style and fun to read, Michel Serres invites us to better understand the radical changes in the world that currently operates and is entitled "crisis." His book consists of three chapters:
1. the new millennia, these events which radically change our world and affecting agriculture, transport, health, demography, connections and conflicts.
2. worldly things that reveal the importance of taking into account a third player, the world (and nature) on which and with which man acts.
3. Knowledge and pipelines that provide ideas and leads for new governance. This would allow the man to take better account of the third actor cited above, to live in a more secure world of human aggression.
This is an excellent book to learn about some themes dear to Michel Serres as the natural contract or hominescence. His teaching style and simplicity with which he provoking the reader always admired.
A book to read!
