The position and movement is well recognized and the hoovering also works quite passable but at 5mm distance little shaky (but you get used to it).
The battery is the way in this version (revision A00 from October 2014) a normal erhätliche in any store AAA-cell over the lifetime I can not say anything yet.
Three things disturb but then the daily use:
- The tip is very hard and thus you glide almost without resistance through the glass. This raises no real writing experience
- If you do not write or shows an extended period of Stylus is obviously in a standby mode and needs felt a second to wake up. This is missing the beginning of the sign, with me eg half A. In addition, OneNote does not recognize the proximity of the stylus, thereby triggering unwanted a zoom or move action. Not exactly convenient. When the stylus is awake there is not but these problems.
- The typeface is somewhat shaky. I also have a grade 3 by Samsung in use, there is both the writing feeling very good, as well as the typeface very supple.
All in all I recommend the Stylus anyway, because only thus the Venue Pro is the ideal companion in the office is for me.
