Is it because of the grip, which can be sold on this first novel, but I must say that during the three thirds of my reading, I kept asking myself why Spielberg had bought the adaptation rights . Arrival at the last third, I understood the interest it has generated without them detect masterpiece. What one can say is that the choice of narrative (first-person diary way) promotes immersion and go easy reading. Moreover, the psychology of the characters is very well addressed, and it makes them very real. However one can not ignore certain lengths and predictability of certain actions (except the end!
