I enjoyed the language used in this book, which I think makes it an accessible book even to less trained players. I mention this in particular because I happened to drop the books in the middle because of turns of phrase or vocabularies too complex or convoluted. This is not the complete story of Hong Kong of course, but I find that the succession of stories and anecdotes is interesting and allows good introduction into the subject (especially on vintage atmospheres ...) . This should give precisely the desire to learn more!
