Despite a fairly large number of pages (560 pages), this novel leaves "devour" easily (with a few lengths anyway). The author skillfully melds a journalistic investigation and a police investigation, which is rather original. The characters are engaging, well worked. The plot goes crescendo, suspense rises gradually as and when the reader absorbs the characters and places ..... This novel is a very good first novel and it is promising for the rest.
